2008: The Renaissance
2009: Kamaal/The Abstract

Song of the Day | DangerDoom – “Crosshairs”

31 12 2009

The main song that got me into underground hip-hop. Still till this day I do not get tired of this song or really any of Dangerdoom’s music. Creating some amazing collabs with other artist and still raising it to the top. New stuff is good but I will just chill out and listen to the old stuff, brings back good memories.

Song of the Day | NEW! Black Milk – “Keep Going”

30 12 2009

\

He made the announcement the other day. Now we get a fresh listen to a track off his upcoming Album of the Year, dropping Summer 2010 on Fat Beat Records. Drums by Daru Jones, additional keyboards and background vocals by Aaron AB Abernathy. Cant wait for it I have not heard anything new from him for a while. Black Milk is one of my top Hip-Hop Artist with J Dilla, Oh No, and so on. Why is because his lyrics are beast and his producing skills are just amazing. So listen to his new shit and also look up more of his old shit just as good.

Song of The Day | Jean Grae – “My Story”

29 12 2009

The first time I heard Jean was when I followed upon the herbaliser who is also a great producer. I was abridged of how she delivered her lyrics and for a woman she would probably kill most rappers today. She always seem like a great person to heart and really does keep the rhythm as a producer.
